TCL Launches 48″ 1080P LED HDTV at Sam’s Club

While some of us look for the high-end, high-priced gadgets, there are others who are looking for cost-effective models and pricing. It’s safe to say that HDTV’s have reached a reasonable price-point. Now it’s all about the display quality, embedded features and size that will determine how much you spend on a TV.

 

TCL (AKA “The Creative Life), is launching a new HD LED TV exclusively at Sam’s Club. The 48″ TV will cost $449. Later on TCL will release other models ranging from 23″ – 55″  The TV is simple and includes the following features / ports:

    On paper it looks like a good buy for a bedroom or second TV. Since its not a smart TV, I would use a Google TV box over Chromecast or Roku. Also while Im sure it could, it doesnt look mount-friendly.

    • That’s what I was thinking as well. Not your main TV set, but for secondary with use of a streaming media device.

    Bought five for use in meetings in presentation and short movies. It’s a little slow starting up but once it’s on, it’s great. Picture quality meets my expectations.
