So you may have been anticipating Samsung’s big announcement. They kept asking us if we were “Ready to Note?”. Today Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Note 4. But they surprised us with the Galaxy Note 4 Edge and the Gear VR. Check out the specs and details below

Pricing and Availability for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 4 Edge

The Galaxy Note 4 will be available in “Charcoal Black,” “Frost White,” “Bronze Gold,” and “Blossom Pink” in global markets starting in October and the Galaxy Note Edge will be available in “Charcoal Black” and “Frost White” in select markets through Samsung’s retail channels, e-commerce and carriers later this year.

We expect the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to hit stores in October. So far T-Mobile and Sprint have confirmed. The Galaxy Note 4 Edge is due later on this fall.

As you can see there isn’t much difference between between the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note 4 Edge. The Edge Screen is just a bit smaller. Other notable changes are the metal band which give the phone a VERY nice feel. Samsung is also focusing on the selfie. The front-facing camera is 3.7 megapixels. It has a selfie” and a wide selfie mode to help capture better quality pictures.

Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition (Virtual Reality)

Samsung also took a step in a different direction with Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition in a partnership with Oculus. Read more information about it from the press release. There’s no pricing and availability information yet. It will be available through online channels and carriers later on this year.
