We spotted the Samsung Gear S smartwatch months ago. Today we finally have availability and pricing from 3 main carriers. In case you forgot the Gear S is an independently connected smartwatch. (It doesn’t need to be paired via Bluetooth). It has it’s own SIM card slot.
The Gear S is powered by Tizen and has a 2 inch Super AMOLED touch screen. It’s compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S 5 Sport, Galaxy Note II, Note 3 and Note 4. It has built-in GPS, multiple sensors, advanced S Health, enhanced S-Voice. It connects via 3G, Wifi, and Bluetooth. You can make / receive calls, and instantly send messages from the watch.

AT&T
Pricing: $199 with a 2 year contract. The Gear S can be added to a mobile share plan for $10 per month (which includes unlimited talk and text).

Sprint
Pricing: $0 down (plus tax) and 24 monthly payments of $16 (SRP: $384; excluding taxes; service plan required). You can add the Gear S to a Sprint Family Share Pack for a $10 per month per line access charge. Through December 2015, Sprint will waive the $10 per month access charge on Gear S added as a new line of service to any Sprint Family Share Pack 20GB or higher.
Availability: The Samsung Gear S will be available from Sprint beginning Friday November 7th
T-Mobile
Pricing: $0 down and $14.58 for 24 months. Full retail price is $349.92. T-Mobile has even launched a special rate plan at only $5 a month for unlimited data and texting with up to 500 MB of data.
Availability: T-Mobile started accepting pre-orders today. The Gear S will be available from T-Mobile on November 9th.
