The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Hit’s 1 Million In Pre-orders

The guys over at CD PROJEKT RED have a reason to celebrate, the creators of the popular Witcher series have announce that worldwide pre-orders for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have exceeded 1 million!

“We’ve crossed the 1 million pre-order milestone and it’s all thanks to you guys! We would like to thank all the gamers for their trust and support,” said Marcin Iwiński, co-founder, CD PROJEKT RED. “This is the last stretch and we’re pushing hard — over the last two weeks, we’ve increased performance on all platforms and started working full speed on the expansions, Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine,” concludes Iwiński.

If you’re not familiar with the game, the Witcher series put players in an open world, you play as a bounty hunter taking down anyone that gets in your way. In the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt you will fight in one of your biggest journeys by tracking down the Child of Prophecy, he’s your biggest threat for the simple fact that he is that he’s a living weapon that can change the shape of the world. As of now, the game will receive 16 DLC’s that will be available for everyone who purchases the game. You won’t receive all the DLC’s at one time because they will be distributed in pairs on a weekly basis starting on May 20th. This gives players more than enough content to keep you playing for months.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to release on May 19th for the Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.
