Looking for the right mouse can become a chore, the main companies we usually go to are Razer, SteelSeries, and Logitech to name a few. Recently I came across a company that also offers gaming mice, Mionix, and I was intrigued once I read the specs of some their mice. Mionix, is a Swedish company that offers a line of PC accessories, the company prides themselves on craftsmanship and although their accessories look beautiful – I wanted to see if the looks would match performance wise. I was able to review the companies Mionix NAOS 7000 gaming mouse and put it through my normal wear and tear test, as well as performance. Now, let’s see if the Mionix NAOS 7000 will be added to my list of must have gaming mice.

Mionix NAOS 7000 Design

The Mionix stands out with its simple and elegant deign. You won’t find a ton of buttons on the side, just two. Once you get your hands on it – you will notice how smooth the body of the mouse is, on the back of the 7000 you will see the company’s logo which lights up once it’s plugged in. Now there is no denying that the Mionix NAOS 7000 has a wide body, I was a little worried about how my hand would feel playing for a long time because of the width. But, honestly there was no difference, the finger grips are elevated so it makes gaming for a long period of time comfortable.
You have up to 7 programmable buttons, 3 steps in-game DPI adjustment, 2 integrated LEDs in 2 color zones with up to 16.8 Million LED color options, you choose to have the light in a Solid Colors, Color shift, Blinking, Pulsating, and Breathing.

The NAOS 700 has a couple of nice features, but my favorite is being able to bring all my custom builds with me, anywhere I go. As many of you already know, I travel a lot and I tend to take my gaming accessories with me, the NAOS 7000’s offers an internal memory that enables you to bring your mouse anywhere – just hook it up to any PC and you will have all your custom keys with you. Mionix has amazing software, even though the installation isn’t mandatory, you will want to download it, so you can experience some of the features such as, surface analyzer, customizable liftoff distance, CPI adjustments, scroll speed adjustments, and the ability to change the colors of the LEDs illuminating its logo and mouse wheel. I really loved how I can use the mouse on any surface and I didn’t see any difference in performance.

Final Thoughts on Mionix NAOS 7000

The Mionix NAOS 7000 is a great mouse to own, even with its small imperfections, it’s still a solid mouse. Getting to customize your mouse to the exact format that you want, and being able to take the same setting with you anywhere is a huge plus! The NAOS 700 is durable, how do I know? As I was pulling the mouse out of my bag (by the wire) it got caught, and me being impatient I yanked the wire – once I did that, the mouse came flying out the bag and hit the wall, I made sure it see if it still worked – It did and the accuracy and speed were still the same. Would I add the Mionix NAOS 7000 to my line-up? Yes, I would.
