Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Event - Analie Cruz - (34)

If you know me, you know the Galaxy Note line is my favorite from Samsung (although the Galaxy S line did step it up several notches with the S7 Edge). It feels a lot like the S7 Edge. I enjoyed seeing the new iris scanner in action. The phone unlocks so quickly, it’s impressive. The phone feels great in hand. It doesn’t feel like it has a 5.7 inch display at all. The new Blue Coral color is nice. A good way to add color to the phone without making it look plasticky or tacky. It seems like it has a rose gold trim (it’s just metal) around the Note 7. It’s a nice contrast.

The battery is just at 3,500, which (to me) doesn’t sound too promising, but we shall see how performance goes long term. You won’t feel a big of a difference if you’re upgrading from a Note 5, but if you’re upgrading from a Note 4, you will definitely see and feel the more luxurious touch to the phone. You will also notice that they kept the headphone jack and the charging port is USB-C. Samsung makes sure consumers are not at a loss by providing them with converters (from USB-C to Micro USB).

The S-Pen  being waterproof is cool as well. I doubt there would be many situations where I would use the S-Pen under water but I prefer a phone that is safe in wet situations. As usual there are accessories for the Note 7. Everything from battery pack cases, to clear view case that double as a kickstand.
