As some of you know, I am not really a movie buff, but I catch a flick or 2 whenever I can. I had the chance to check out Thor: Ragnarok in IMAX theaters, and I really enjoyed the movie. Great actions with some funny scenes. Good enough for me.
The movie officially opens tomorrow, November 3rd. What’s cool about watching it at IMAX theaters is that some of the movie is formatted for IMAX. There are no intended spoilers, but as always, proceed with caution.
Fans that go to Thor: Ragnarok in IMAX will get to experience more of the team’s galactic adventures because approximately 40 minutes of the film will feature special IMAX formatting. Only in IMAX will these scenes be presented in an expanded 1.9:1 aspect ratio, which means fans will get to see 26% more of the image than standard theatres for a must-see IMAX event.
