The “creative” person on your list may be a bit hard to shop for. I got to play with many gadgets this year that fall into a random category. While not all of them are super techie, they show how far along we’ve come with technology, and how technology is ever so useful in every category. Here are some wonderful entertainment gifts you can get creatives on your list.
Casio CGP 700 Series Keyboard
Casio, a trusted brand in keyboards allowed me to check out the CGP 700 Series Keyboard for a while. This is a bit of a high-end digital piano. I am by no means a musician, but as soon as you set it up, you can tell the CGP 700 has options for every type of palyer. The CGP 700 keyboard has a key feature that will help users get to all of the features, and that is the 5.3 inch color touch-screen. If the creative you know spends most of their time in front of a screen, Ben Q monitor might be the best present for them. There’s different modes (for example, Darkroom mode and CAD/ CAM mode) for different purposes. You can switch between view modes with the hotkey puck controller.
BenQ E- Reading Desk Lamp
I reviewed this lamp a few months ago, and I use it everyday. It helps light up my entire workstation without glare. It may be expensive, but it pays off in the long run. It’s supposed to last 50,000 hours. It has a built-in an ambient sensor automatically detects the light levels of the room and adjusts its brightness accordingly. Easy to use, set up, and it looks great as well.
Epson Home Cinema 660
If you know someone who wants a projector and lives in a small place, I would suggest the Epson 660 Projector. It’s portable, so you don’t really have to go crazy trying to mount it or have a space for it. Weighing just a little over 5 pounds, the Epson 660 can be moved from place to place. With images of up to 300 inches and a price tag of under $400, it’s an affordable projector solution.
Alienware Pro Gaming Keyboard
If the person on your list takes gaming seriously, they would be happy to get the Alienware Pro Gaming Keyboard. The 111 MX brown switch key keyboard is great for gamers. The MX switches deliver solid tactile feedback with low actuation force and low click noise. .The ambient lighting makes it a bit easier on your eyes during long-night gaming sessions. If the giftee on your list is having internet connection problems when working from home, the Netgear Orbi is of great help. You can get one that fits the size of their working space.
