Check it Out: The Lab at Panorama NYC Powered by HP

The Lab powered by HP is back at Panorama NYC. Check out the 360 Dome.

HP is at Panorama NYC again this year. They understand there’s a relationship between art, music, and tech.  I had a chance to briefly check out their installations yesterday. Since the show shut down due to severe weather conditions, I barely had a chance to get around. There are a few installations to check out and I plan on checking out more on day 2 of Panorama festival.

I did have a chance to check out Emergence 360 at the 360 Dome (the red dome). It allows you to check out the entire Panorama NYC festival via VR. In case you won’t be able to get around to the stages, you can get an upfront view here. It works out like most VR experiences. You put on the headset and use the controls to navigate from one stage to another Check out some pics and deets below. I’ll update the article or add a new one with more info on the other installations from the HP lab after day 2 and 3. There is no charge to check out the installations at Panorama. Definitely, a fun thing to do between sets.

From Panorama.nyc:

“The LAB, powered by HP, is back and better than ever.

An interactive experience that combines technology, artistry, and design, created exclusively by New York City–based artists. THE LAB, curated by META, places experiential digital art at the heart of the festival, with five interactive installations and a massive 360-degree virtual-reality theater. THE LAB, powered by HP, is a playground of music and technology that can only be experienced at Panorama.”
