Rayman: Origins [Video Game]

Rayman: Origins is a 1-4 way multiplayer platformer by Ubisoft. The story centers around your favorite Rayman characters running around an array of different worlds from tropical paradises to frosty glaciers, fighting off various wild life within. Each world has such amazing graphics and detail you‘ll think you‘re watching an animated film! This is truly a game made for HD Tvs. I enjoyed the landscape so much I just couldn’t wait to see what the next level would look like!

Every section has hidden chambers where you can rescue cute, smiley face creatures that give you bonuses to unlocking extra characters you can play. At the end of each world there is a kidnapped fairy you must rescue through a wild and crazy chase sequence. These chases will have you on the edge of your seat each and every time! You learn more about the story as the game continues.

You’ll definitely find this to be an addicting game as the action on screen gets more intense and difficult the further you play. This can be a fun game for children but I have to admit, as the game progress the difficulty level seems more for teens and adults. Yet once you make enough mistakes the game does ask you if you’d like to try a different level. I got frustrated at times but in the end it was worth the effort! Since it’s a 1-4 way multiplayer everyone can get in on the game play. I completed this game with one other player. Having 4 people on the same screen could be a bit chaotic, if you can work together then I’m sure it’ll be just as fun. I recommend this as a party game to played on a large screen television.
