Monoprice Hi-Fi Lightweight On-Ear Headphone Design
They only weigh 4.5 oz, which helps them not to feel too tight or heavy on your head when you’ve been wearing them for a while.
The pause/play button worked well on my Macbook, and I was able to answer and hang up phone calls on my iPhone 6 Plus with it as well.
My Experience Using the Hi-Fi Lightweight On-Ear Headphones
My main use for these headphones was to conduct podcast interviews via my computer. I plugged these headphones into my microphone, and the sound quality of the call was loud and clear. I was also able to hear myself well.
I edited my podcast while wearing these. I was able to hear some little annoying noises that I didn’t hear on my laptop speakers. I would imagine someone in a car or with some good headphones/speakers would have heard it and been annoyed. So it was really good that I used these. I’ll definitely be using them to edit future episodes from now on.
My Final Thoughts
Overall, these headphones were really good. I listened to a lot of different music on them, and the sound quality was great. The $14.99 price point is excellent. You can pick them up on either their site or Amazon for the same low price. I think I may pick up a few extra pairs for the folks on my Christmas list!
