Gears of War 4’s New Dark Trailer: “Tomorrow”

At last year’s E3, Gears of War fans got a glimpse of the next installment to the Microsoft exclusive franchise. Last week The Coalition took to social media via Twitter, letting their fans know that Gears of War 4 will be available, October 11.

Today, Microsoft has released a new trailer titled “Tomorrow.” In this trailer fans will see the legacy of the Fenix family, father to son and will show fans a glimpse of the new threat that awaits them.

“At the conclusion of “Gears of War 3,” Marcus Fenix wondered what tomorrow would bring. What a world without war would look like. This is the story of two tomorrows – the one Marcus envisioned, and the one 25 years later, where all hope is shattered as a new nightmare is reborn.”

The video shows a more dark and sinister feel to the game – something that we haven’t seen since the original Gears. “Tomorrow” showcases Disturbed’s haunting cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence.”

Starting April 18, players who have played “Gears of War: Ultimate Edition” on Xbox One or Windows 10, will start to receive tokens in waves for early access to the beta.

Following the conclusion of early access on April 24, those of you who are qualifying Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One will be invited to join the beta until it ends on May 1.
