I am all about events around New York. We go to many tech-related events, but here and there we go to some lifestyle events. One of those events is right around the corner; Secret Summer. Secret Summer 17 is less than a week away. Hosted at The Foundry (located in the borough of Queens), Secret Summer is New York City’s farm-to-bar cocktail festival. Last year was a blast as they had the band “The Lucky Chops” perform and it was a great day to hang outdoors.
This year they have a few DJs and some great food for a fun garden experience. Last week we got a “preview” of what’s to come for the main event. We sampled cocktails from The Real McCoy, and Woodford Reserve. Checking out Farm One is always a fun experience. The NYC farm for chefs grows different edible plants in their indoor farm located in Manhattan. As for eats, I am looking forward to trying Wafels & Dinges, and La Pulperia.
There are a few DJs and bands to amp up the experience, such as DJ Ryan Vandal, and Kieran Taylor.

Secret Summer Festival Location and Pricing
Like I mentioned before, Secret Summer will be held fittingly at the The Foundry (in Long Island City, Queens). The Foundry has different halls and outside areas. You can get tickets from Eventbrite HERE. Your ticket does include drinks. However, the ticket does not include food; so bring cash and card for eats. (From the site: General Admission tickets include all access to every room and complimentary drinks. Food is for purchase only.) The event starts at 4pm and ends at 10pm. That’s enough time to mingle, and enjoy many of the experiences they have to offer. Take a look at the gallery to see some of the previews.
