TCL announced their next round of affordable phones with the TCL 40 series. We saw a glimpse of them at CES 2023. Staying in the budget market, the highest of the three smartphones, the TCL 40 X 5G, doesn’t go over $200.
The phones are coming in May and June 2023. You get a 6.56-inch 90 Hz, HD+ TCL NXTVISION display, MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and a 5,000 mAh battery on the 40 X 5G model. It also has 50MP triple AI camera and 8MP selfie camera. Quite the package for that price.
The TCL 40XE 5G rocks most of the sme specs as the 40 X except it has a 13 MP main camera. The TCL 40 XL features a 50MP AI Triple Camera, and a lag-free Helio G37 octa-core processor, alleviating the stress of buffering when on video calls or streaming content on its 6.75-inch HD+ TCL NXTVISION display.
