T-MOBILE REVVL 7 PRO 5G Review
The Revvl Pro series from T-Mobile is a nice option for their customers as it’s usually low-cost and does the job. We’re checking out the T-Mobile REVVL 7 Pro 5G, which is also available as the regular REVVL 7.
Design and Build of REVVL 7 Pro 5G
The REVVL 7 Pro’s build is very familiar. It feels more premium than the REVVL 6 Pro since it has some weight to it. It looks very. It is a tall slab housing the 6.78-inch OLED display. The 16-megapixel camera is at the top center, and the back was the camera module with four cameras. The rounded edges make it more comfortable to hold even though the phone is tall, even for my long fingers. There’s also a headphone jack. The back of the phone is a matte plastic. You have your primary 50-megapixel camera, 5-megapixel ultrawide-angle camera, 2-megapixel macro camera, and an extra “depth” camera. Of course, the camera is AI-enhanced. There is no IP rating on the phone.

Day to Day Experience
It’s running Android 14. Like with most Android devices, setting up the REVVL 7 Pro was simple. There is a folder with T-Mobile apps on the device. As usual, I don’t use many of the T-Mobile apps. Scam Shield is one of the most useful ones. But I use the T-Life app the most. Bloatware isn’t what it used to be, although they try to get you to download some games and apps during the setup.

This phone is more of a lower midrange. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip and 8GB of RAM, which means that it runs decently for the most part.I am not a fan of the haptic feedback on the REVVL devices and it’s no different on the REVVL 7 Pro. I turn that off immediately, and I feel that the phone performs better almost instantly. Regarding usage, I can do everyday things like scroll threads, Instagram and snap pictures without issue. Performance is smooth with music and social media apps open, which I think is the norm for most people. The 120hz refresh rate and the vibrant and punchy display are fluid.

T-Mobile REVVL 7 Pro 5G Cameras
When it comes to phones, we are pitting build versus pricing versus cameras and performance. Cameras are important to me because the best camera you have is the one you have in your pocket. However, I don’t expect too much from midrange cameras.

The camera module on the REVVL 7 Pro is small and flat for such a tall phone. As expected, the phone does well with great lighting. The details are crisp and vibrant, and the pictures are great for social media. For the most part, it doesn’t always over-expose images. Low-light situations are challenging for it, where the pictures come out noisy.

When it comes to selfies, the images have no details. You can see the face is very soft, almost airbrushed.

Battery Life
Battery life is always hard to cover because it varies for everyone. But I think it’s great that a midrange phone supports wireless charging (15W). I still try not to charge wirelessly to preserve the battery. It’s great to have the option, but it will likely take all night to charge this phone wirelessly. The REVVL 7 Pro 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery, which is pretty large. Wireless charging was also available on the Revvl 6 Pro. I am on the phone all day.
Verdict
While it’s obviously not a flagship device, the Revvl 7 Pro 5G has a great set of features at an affordable price point. It takes the good things from the Revvl 6 Pro and refines them to improve it. The vivid display and long battery life are amazing for this price point. Even midrange phones can feel expensive upfront, especially when money is tight. In such situations, exploring short-term financial help can cover unexpected costs like a phone upgrade without having to wait for your next paycheck. I would still try to get this phone with a deal or on sale since it’s at a higher price point than last year’s model. I’d recommend this for someone who needs a larger display but doesn’t want to spend too much on a device and wants the option of charging their phone wirelessly overnight.
