Savant Smart Hearth Oven – A Pizza Lover’s Dream

The Savant Home, also known as the Savant Experience Center in Manhattan, New York, is always a treat. You get to experience a luxury smart home setup in the middle of the greatest city in the world. We’ve visited a few times, and this time, we were exclusively invited back to check out the Savant Smart Hearth Oven.

This was the most luxurious pizza party I have been to. Monogram Appliance and Savant also invited Frank Pinello from Best Pizza in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York, to give us some insight and backstory about his experience using the Smart Hearth Oven. Frank cooks professionally for a living and has used many types of ovens. At his pizzeria, he’s used to using the woodfire oven.

He was surprised that the Savant Smart oven didn’t have many buttons to work with. The oven separately indicated its heating at the top and bottom for precise cooking. The cheese didn’t burn, pizza wasn’t dry either. Frank was satisfied the performance of the even. While the smart oven is all-electric, it cooks in brick oven style (according to the spec sheet) . It has presets for many foods, including various pizza styles. Given Frank’s experience, he went with New York-style pizza. We were not disappointed at all!

Savant Smart Hearth Oven Features

  • Handcrafted luxury: Brushed stainless exterior to the simple touch controls
  • Flush installation: Installs flush with surrounding cabinetry
  • Electric heating zones: Pre-programmed settings temperature control (80°F – 1300°F)
  • Capacitive touch LCD controls: Allow for easy selection of preset cooking options
  • Built-in installation: Is made possible with a 30″-width cabinet cutout
  • Integrated oven ventilation system: Allows for simple installation, with no additional ductwork required

The oven was installed recently, and due to it not needing a vent, they just made a space for it in the kitchen by one of the counter spaces. That’s pretty impressive. More info on the Savant smart oven can be found here
