Sony has entered the clip-on open-earbuds market with the Sony LinkBuds Clip Truly Wireless Open Earbuds. They had the in-ear LinkBuds and LinkBuds Open. Open earbuds let you listen to your music while staying alert because they clip onto the side of your ear rather than being inserted into your ear.

This open form factor lets you keep the earbuds on all day while still being aware of your surroundings. With three listening modes, the LinkBuds Clips are designed for different situations. There’s the Standard Mode for regular music listening; Voice Boost to help make listening to videos and podcasts easier; and Sound Leakage Reduction Mode, which lets you still wear the LinkBuds Clips in quieter environments without everyone else hearing.
The earbuds feature music upscaling with DSEE1, 360 Reality Audio for a personalized immersive audio experience as well as Background Music Effect2. In addition, there’s a 10-band EQ, which is customizable in the Sony | Sound Connect app3, plus with “Find Your Own Equalizer,” it’s even easier for users to find their preferred sound.
It has quick charging that gives you up to an hour of use with just 3 minutes of charging. With up to 37 hours of battery life, the LinkBuds Clip seems to be great for all-day use. We will be reviewing them soon to see how that battery life works out. So stay posted for that.
When it comes to fit and comfort, optional fitting cushions provide a tighter, more secure fit for more active activities, such as running. The earbuds are IPX4 water-resistant, so they can be used at the gym. When it comes to color choices, there are four options: black, greige, green, and lavender, with optional case covers.
