Nothing is entering their pink era. They are showing off the Nothing 4a in Pink. It’s a nice subtle baby or cherry blossom pink, which I think is cuter than the original white/silver. Nothing’s phones always have a futuristic design. We loved the design when we reviewed the Nothing Phone 3a Pro smartphone last year.

Lucy Birley, Colour Material Finish Design Lead at Nothing, discussed the inspiration behind pink, noting, “There’s a lot of amazing old tech references that we go back to very often.” Birely explains, “pink is actually just desaturated red” and “when we put the tint inside the transparency, because of how the light interacts with the resin underneath, you get this incredible sense of depth which makes our products look really lively, and we do have all of this detail under the transparency, so it’s really nice to celebrate that.”
The glyph lights are not a vertical bar on the right side of the camera.

Nothing is celebrating the new color by hosting activities across London. They are going out with a pink graffiti wall at the Nothing Store Soho (London) window and posters everywhere. You can see more of this on Nothing’s Instagram page.
Tune in to Nothing.tech on Thursday, March 5, at 10:30 AM GMT to find out all details about Nothing Phone (4a). Nothing Event: Built Different will be livestreamed from Central Saint Martins, London, UK.
