Asus VivoTab RT
Asus has significant experience with tablet/laptop hybrids thanks to its Android-based Transformer line. The device’s 10.1-inch scree-inch, 1,366×768 display is a Super IPS+ panel, and the system supports a Wacom stylus for note-taking and drawing along with 1.3 GHz Quad-Core Tegra 3. There’s also an 8-megapixel camera in the tablet packaging, which is just 8.3mm thick, and weighs a skinch under 1.5 pounds. The optional dock adds a keyboard, with extra battery life and USB ports.7-8. That includes a lot of web browsing, some Netflix watching, some email and messaging.
Samsung Smart PC
The dock does not contain an extra battery as the others do. The keyboard dock adds a further two USB 2.0 ports (the data interconnect between tablet and keyboard can’t cope with USB 3.0). Wireless thanks to Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G/4G wireless broadband with accompanying SIM slot.
The display integrates a Wacom digitizer and full S Pen support (the same technology used in Galaxy Note smartphones). In laptop mode, the system weighs 3.26 pounds. The tablet alone weight 1.65 pounds. Samsung includes both front-facing (2 megapixel) and rear-facing (8 megapixel) cameras for easy video conferencing. Just like a Samsung Ultrabook, the Series 5 is a smart, posh-looking affair (Samsung calls the color styling “mystic blue”).

Lenovo’s Thinkpad 2 a 10.1-inch form factor. Yes, you can purchase a dock that integrates a classic Lenovo keyboard, but it’s a Bluetooth dock without a physical connector that would turn the system into a traditional clamshell.
