My favorite things from Sennheiser at CES 2014.
It’s no surprise that I am a big fan of headphones. I’ve reviewed plenty of them and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Seriously it’s like buying shoes, headphones are super addicting. Moving on, I was ecstatic to stop by the Sennheiser booth. Sennheiser is known for quality audio. We have reviewed a few of their headphones at both sites. At CES 2014, they expanded their line of high-end headphones. Here’s a bit of what I got to check out.
Sennheiser Momentum Headphones
Sennheiser Momentum (over-the-ear) headphones were a hit in 2013 (we featured it in our Holiday Gift Guide). The sound, along with the style and comfort made them a great choice for headphones. At CES 2014, Sennheiser reintroduced the Momentum’s in ivory. They will run $329. The ivory Momentum’s have a classy look that will suit nearly everyone. If it’s too off for you, you can go back to the original black Momentums.
The new Momentum are smaller as they are on-ear on ear headphones. They are available in multiple colors (pink, green, ivory, blue, black, brown, and red). If you know me, you know which colors I was attracted to first.
The Momentum on-ear headphones bring the same clarity the original Momentum headphones along with the comfort. The only difference is that the Momentum on-ears are now much lighter and of course you have the color choices.
Sennheiser DJ Headphones (HD 8, HD7 DJ, and HD6 MIX)
Sennheiser’s DJ headphones are for the professionals. They feel as such. These 3 models. are tuned specifically for DJs and producers. With studio-based music as the main subject of concern, their DJ line doesn’t only deliver sound, but provides cushioning for long period’s of use. The cup also swivels around for single-ear listening with comfort. The DJ lines starts at $389 and go down in price.
We’ll be reviewing the Momentum on-ear headphones soon. Stay posted!
