Secret Summer NYC returns to Queens, New York on August 12th. Check out some of the food and drink sponsors for the event. #secretsummernyc
There is nothing like a summer in New York. So many things to do. We’ve covered one of our favorite summer festivals, Secret Summer NYC, for a few years now. What’s great about Secret Summer is that it features farm-to-bar cocktails, making it a unique tasting event. Taking place at The Foundry, Secret Summer brings the garden chic event to Long Island City, Queens. So what can you expect at this year’s event? Check out the deets on some of the sponsors below:
Secret Summer has had a variety of drink sponsors. This time around, they will have:
Brugal 1888 rum tasting experience, which will be accompanied by desserts.
Hangar 1 Vodka will have a Hanging Herb Wall where guests will be encouraged to pick their favorite herbs to complete their cocktail.
Blue Point Brewery Toasted Yacht will also be there. Guests are invited to sip on Blue Point Beer cocktails from a boat in the middle of The Foundry’s courtyard
Suntory Whisky Toki™ will be featured in The Foundry’s Greenhouse where Toki highballs will be served from a Yatai (food cart).
Secret Summer NYC Food Menu
The food choices are one of my favorite things about Secret Summer NYC. You can check out some of the dishes from last year, in the picture gallery. This year eats will be provided by:
Wise Fish Poke
The Chorpian
Bar Gonzo
Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine
A fun new addition to this year’s event is Man vs Food host, Casey Webb will be on hand to judge the best cocktail at SecretSummer this year! The Foundry is a beautiful venue. It contrasts with the industrial look of certain parts of Long Island City. You also have a glimpse of the Ed Koch Bridge (formerly Queensborough / 59th Street Bridge)
