Motorola’s iconic clamshell is back with the Moto razr+. This iconic phone comes back with a larger external display than the last generation, wireless charging, and a new yet classic color!
The Moto razr+ has a 6.9-inch 1080p foldable display and a 3.6-inch OLED external display. No longer sporting a chin, the external display goes up 144Hz refresh rate and is covered by Gorilla Glass Victus. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus gen-1 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage size. There are no other storage sizes available. It’s powered by a 3,800 mAh battery.
We had some hands-on time with the Moto razr+, which was pretty fun to use. Focusing on the external display, you have a lot of panels to get information from for notifications, weather, music, and contacts. You can also start using an app in the internal display and continue using it in the external display. The apps are fully functional on the external display too. We used Google Maps, Messages, and Spotify.

You can watch your content on the external display when set in Flex View. When folded, the razr+ folds completely flat. You don’t see a gap or even much of the teardrop shape in the hinge, making it one of the flattest foldables on the market.
While the razr+ fits a higher midrange area, it feels sturdy and well-built for a foldable. It doesn’t feel too fragile. It can handle splashes of water with its IP52 rating. The phone doesn’t open all the way flat. I don’t think it’s supposed to.

Available in three colors, Glacier Blue, Infinite Black and the Pantone color of the year, Viva Magenta color, exclusive to T-Mobile, the Motorola Razr+ is priced at $999.99. The Viva Magenta version has a nice vegan leather back. You can preorder beginning June 16 and get it in store on June 23.
As I mentioned before, if you’re going for the Viva Magenta color, that’s exclusive to T-Mobile. They will also have the Infinite Black color too. New and existing customers can get it for FREE when adding a line or trading in an eligible device on Go5G Plus — or half off on Go5G or Magenta with trade-in. The Motorola razr+ comes in Viva Magenta and Infinite Black, at $41.67/month ($0 down; full retail price: $999.99, plus tax) – all over 24 months with a credit check on T-Mobile’s no-interest equipment installment plan.
