The Samsung Galaxy Fold 7 is official and it’s so thin! We had a chance to go hands on with Samsung’s latest foldables and it’s impressive how thin the Galaxy Fold 7 is.
Samsung has listened and widened the front display to 6.5-inch AMOLED (2520 x 1080 resolution) with a 21:9 aspect ratio. There is a 10MP camera on the cover screen. When unfolded you have an 8-inch display. The inner camera is 10MP as well. It’s no longer under the display but a regular cutout on the top of the right screen. The rear triple camera setup is 200MP wide-angle camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera. As expected the Galaxy Fold 7 is running on Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy.
It’s gorgeous and feels so light in hand. But with that comfort we lost the luxury of the s-pen. there was never a slot for it, but now it doesn’t support it at all Which I admit I’ve been using the s-pen less and less now but still love to have around or at least the option of using.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 Pricing and Availability
Available in three colors, Jet Black, Blue Shadow and Silver Shadow, the Galaxy Fold 7 starts at $1,999.99 for the 256GB version, before trade in deals. That’s up from last year’s price of $1,899.
The 256GB and 512GB versions have 12GB RAM. The 1TB version is the only one with 16GB RAM If you order on Samsung.com, you have access to an exclusive mint color.
