The Honor 500 series was announced for China today. And while it’s a mid-range phone in some specs, the 6.55-iinch display and 8,000 mAh battery is pretty amazing. They have up to 80W wired charging, but if you want wireless charging, you’d hav to stick to the 500 Pro model, which has up to 50W wireless charging. They’re both running MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. The base model Honor 500 is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, while the 500 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Both the Honor 500 and 500 Pro have 200MP main shooter (1/1.4″ sensor) and 12MP ultrawide lenses in the rear camera cluster. The 500 Pro has an additional 50 megapixel telephoto lens.
The phones are available in four colors, blue, pink, silver and black.There are a few RAM/storage options. There are 12GB with 256GB or 512GB of storage or 16GB with 512GB of storage. The 16GB/1TB option is only on the Honor 500 Pro. The Honor 500 Series will be available in the Chinese Mainland, with retail prices starting from 3599 RMB for the Honor 500 Pro and 2699 RMB for the Honor 500.
