Hi-Rez Studios will be holding the SMITE Epsilon Invitational LAN this weekend (August 13-14) at the company’s eSports arena, which is located in Alpharetta, GA. What’s the reason for this tournament? The LAN is a result of the team Epsilon (now known as Panthera) winning the 2016 SMITE World Championships the team is now getting their own skin – the “EpSOLon Sol skin” which will be available in the game.
Fans who buy the skin should know, that for every sale of the skin $1 was contributed to the Epsilon LAN prizepool and a total of $26,247 was raised. The four best SMITE teams from North America and Europe will be participating in this LAN and you can watch it all on the HiRezTV Twitch Channel.
For those of you who will be attending Gamescom, the company will be in attendance handing out some cool gifts, as well as hosting parties at the Meltdown eSports Bar in Cologne from August 18th-20th.
