Covering CES with a small team is hard but not impossible. There’s so much to see and be amazed by. These are some of my favorite things. Some of the devices might stay as a concept, some may never come to North America but the concepts were still great. In no particular order and the list will continue to get updates as I sort through all the pictures and video.

TCL AiMe Robot Companion
I’m a sucker for a cute robot. Enter TCL’s Ai Me, pronounced Amy, who just rolled out on the floor at the TCL booth. Color me obsessed. The accompanying video playing at the booth showed how AiMe would be like a companion in the house. Telling you about the day and also showing you things through the cameras. Of course the camera can identify things using AI. It has a rolling cradle to maneuver around the house, but it’s not stuck there.

Samsung’s Ballie Robot Companion
Another AI companion robot, Samsung’s Ballie isn’t necessarily. We saw it years before and it had a more official presence last year, but had a full demo at Samsung’s suites this year. As expected, it can do many things with AI prompts, like choosing which wine is best to pair with a steak dinner. It can find out info about restaurants, and other prompts in that realm. It has a projector that displays images that are also buttons you can step on. The same projector can display movies, as per the demo we were shown. Pretty cool!

Govee Table Lamp 2 Pro (Sound by JBL)
Govee, known for their light strips had a crazy fun booth to look at. Govee had everything from outdoor lights, to panel lights, to the new table lamps with speakers. The setup was pretty amazing with a bedroom, gaming room and even a patio kind of setup. The Table lamps were impressive as they synced with the music playing.

LG StanbyME 2 TV
The portable TV we saw last year got even better with version 2. It’s no longer stuck in a carrying case. The 27-inch 1440p display has a strap to hang like a picture frame or a rolling easel to transport across rooms.

Segway E-Bikes Xafari and Xyber
Preorders have started for both of these Segway e-bikes. The Xafari starts at $2,300 and has up to 88 miles of range. The Xyber electric bike starts at $2,999 and has over 100 mile range. They both have Segway’s Intelligent Ride system. The system includes features such as Airlock keyless locking and adaptive pedal assist.

BeatBot Pool Cleaner
I don’t have a pool but the technology in robot pool cleaners are incredible. We had a chance to catch up with BeatBot as they announced their new flagship pool cleaners, the AquaSense 2 Pro, AquaSense 2 Ultra and their Roboturtle? More on that in a bit. The AquaSense Pool cleaners were cleaning shallow pools in the middle of the convention floor. AquaSense 2 Ultra, the world’s first AI-powered 5-in-1 cleaner, combines cutting-edge technology with thoughtful design to deliver exceptional performance and convenience leaving no missed spots. From the AquaSense 2 Ultra, AquaSense 2 Pro, and AquaSense 2, the prices are $3,450, $2,499, and $1,499

Beatbot Amphibious RoboTurtle
This device is not for consumers, but it’s still dope. Beatbot created a turtle to help gather ecological research, aquatic preservation, and disaster response, featuring advanced capabilities such as water environment monitoring, biometric tracking, and AI-supported hazardous material samplingObviously, this isn’t my lane, but the turtle’s build is so futuristic.
