Samsung Unpacked is today and we officially have the new Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphones series. This includes the base model Galaxy S25, the larger Galaxy S25 Plus and the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra.

When it comes to specs, of course they are going to have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip. What does it mean when it’s “for Galaxy”. It was built with the Galaxy S25 in mind, promising better performance than the standard 8 Elite chip.
The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus have 6.2-inch and 6.7-inch displays respectively. The S25 Ultra has a massive 6.9-inch 120 Hz display. These displays are IP68 rated, gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+. The Galaxy S25 Ultra has new Corning Gorilla Armor 2 glass on its display. The battery sizes go from 4000 mAh, 4,900 mAh, and for the S25, S25 Plus and the S25 Ultra with the largest of the three, at 5,000 mAh.
The phones are running Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 software skin over it. AI features are what Samsung highlighted at Unpacked not only for productivity but for cameras as well.

Camera modules are the same on the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus with a 12 MP Ultra wide (F 2.2), a 50 Megapixel wide camera with OIS F1.8 and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x Optical Zoom F2.4. They both have 12-megapixel f2.2 front facing cameras (selfie cams).

There are four cameras on the Galaxy S25 Ultra camera module. A 50-megapixel Ultra wide (F 1.9), a 200 Megapixel wide camera with OIS F1.7, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, OIS f3.4, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x Optical Zoom F2.4. The S25 Ultra has the same 12-megapixel f2.2 front facing camera as the other S25 models.
With the AI-powered Gen Pro Visual Engine, you get things like virtual aperture control, you can also clean up your pictures, by editing out noise and blur.

The S25 and 25 Plus are available in four colors, Silver Shadow, Icyblue, Navy and Mint. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is available in Titanium Black, Titanium Whitesilver, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Silverblue colors.
The Galaxy S25 starts at $799 (for the 128GB model), Galaxy S25+ Plus starts at $999 (256GB), and the Galaxy S25 Ultra is $1299 (256GB) for the base storage of each variant. You can preorder the devices today. They will be available February 7th.
