The phone is larger than the other phones of course. So a lot of ladies that I know are skeptical about using the Galaxy Note 3 as their daily driver. I compiled a few reasons why the the Note 3 is a great phone for the ladies. You can check out the basic specs below and see some of my favorite features. These features are worthy of making the phone a daily driver.

S Pen

Samsung’s stylus is not the stylus from before. The S Pen brings power and creativity to your finger tips. It’s my main reason to use the phone as a daily driver. With so many powerful phones out there, the S Pen is the one true differentiating factor between this and the many Android options offered.

Efficiency – The Note 3 is ready to work. It has features upon features to try and help you jump start everything. One of the most talked about and of course notable features is the new Air Command wheel. The Air Command wheel pops up whenever you take out the S Pen or whenever you hover the S Pen over the screen (not touching the screen) and click the button.  You get 5 quick actions from the Air Command menu: Action MemoScrap Booker, Screen Write, S Finder and Pen Window. The two menu items that I use the most are Action Memo and Screen Write. With Action Memo, a note pad comes up and you can jot down notes quickly. The great thing is that you can highlight whatever you jotted down and “take action” with it.  You can store contact information, look up an address on maps, send the information in a text, or an email, or add it to your to-do list. That’s what I call efficient note taking.

Galaxy Note 3 Camera

With a ginormous screen, the Note 3 camera has a great view finder. One of my favorite things is that when taking selfies, there’s a beauty shot mode. You may not always need it but beauty shot helps on those off days. It  helps just a bit. The camera is slightly ahead of its time. It can record 4K quality video. There’s a mode for pretty much every setting, making it easy to use.

You can also use both the front and rear cameras at the same time, for cute postcard like flicks.  There are of course more useful modes, such as the Animated photo and Drama shot that can capture great pictures when used correctly.

It’s not like a few years ago where there were barely any cases for Android phones out there. Now popular case makers are making cases for many Android phones including the Galaxy Note 3. A couple of my favorites include the Speck Candy Shell Grip and the Incipio DualPro cases. There are a few wallet cases out there too, that help you look fashionable while toting this phablet.

One-Handed Operation

I like the fact that Samsung realized that the large size isn’t efficient at all times. They have settings to help you with certain operations to make things easier. One Handed Operation option on the Note 3 allows for keyboards and screens to be shifted to one side for easier handling.

Handling – As huge as this phone is. It’s not heavy. The Galaxy Note 3 is very lightweight. While it might take up a bit more room in your bag, the Note 3 is light on the wrist.

Android is great in any size

If size was a reason that you were fearing getting the Galaxy Note 3, you should really overlook it. The big size packs features and you get the many benefits of Android phones such as the many apps from Google Play. Android is great, no doubt about it. That’s why there are so many android phones out there, but gaming and picture editing, sharing are a lot more fun and creative on a large phone. With the stylus personalization goes to a whole other level.

There are a few new features that Google+ now has that make me love Android 4.3 (and up) even more. Google Auto Awesome makes pic collages, movies, and other enhancements breathing new life into your picture gallery.

I hope the fear of a large phone is finally gone. While 5.7 inches is definitely not the norm for phones across the board, it’s no longer a shocker. There are now phones with even larger displays, at 6 inches and up. The Galaxy Note 3 definitely has a lot to offer. Ladies don’t miss out!
