Today, Warner Bros. and Gamestop gave eSports and Injustice 2 fans some great news. They are teaming up for the upcoming Injustice 2 GameStop Hometown Heroes tournament.
The Hometown Heroes tournament offers amateur players in the United States an alternate way to participate in an eSports program and battle it out for cash prizes. The tournament, which will be operated by ESL, will begin open online qualifier tournaments on June 4.
There are eight Regional Finals tournaments that will be held in local GameStops on Aug. 12 and leading up to the Injustice GameStop Hometown Heroes Finals at the GameStop Managers Expo in Las Vegas, Nev., Aug. 27.
Injustice 2 will hit stores May 16th, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One,
