Logitech has a new mouse in their MX lineup, the MX Vertical Mouse was announced today, and it looks interesting. Not only does it look modern and sleek, it’s supposed to be comfortable too. The ergonomic design is supposed to help alleviate pressure in the wrist. It was designed with a natural handshake position to alleviate muscle tension. The MX Vertical mouse has 4,000 DPI high-precision sensor, resulting in up to 4x less hand movement and reducing fatigue.
From the press release:
“We know that many computer users experience discomfort or pain in their hand, forearm and in their wrists,” said Delphine Donne-Crock, general manager of creativity and productivity at Logitech. “To address this, we’ve created our most advanced ergonomic mouse yet, MX VERTICAL, designed with an innovative natural handshake position. The unique angle is optimized for an ergonomic posture and reduces both wrist pressure and forearm strain. With MX VERTICAL, you can maximize your productivity in comfort.”
Logitech Flow allows you to seamlessly control multiple computers – and you can customize buttons, set application-specific functions, and adjust DPI speed via Logitech Options software.
MX Vertical Mouse – Features and Use
It’s hard for me to imagine not moving a mouse around, but the thought of less pressure on your wrist and also doing more with less movement seems great. I love that you can pair up to 3 devices with the mouse, at once. I usually have a desktop and laptop at once, so that would work very well. It also charges via USB-C, which is pretty cool. More accessories on USB-C mean less cables in the workspace.
MX Vertical Mouse Pricing and Availability
The MX Vertical Mouse is a bit of an investment at $99.99. It will be released in late September. If you like what you see, you can pre-order the mouse at Logitech.com
