I was able to play around with the phone at the AT&T holiday event last week and if the Google Nexus is anything like this phone, they are going in the right direction.
So it’s been said that LG will partner with Google to release a Nexus version of the Optimus G. The device will reportedly be announced by the end of the month, with an expected release before year’s end.
This are the Rumored Leaked specifications which include a quad-core Snapdragon CPU, 2GB of RAM, 720p HD display, and 8MP camera. The phone won’t have a microSD slot, and internal storage will be limited to 8GB or 16GB.
Google apparently isn’t dealing exclusively with LG either, as CNet’s source claimed other manufacturers are developing future Nexus devices as well. We all love to see good phones get upgrades, so as if Google’s track record with updating Nexus devices holds true, this can be a great phone, might be able to stand up against the Samsung Galaxy S3.
