SteelSeries has joined forces with eSports team Evil Geniuses to create a limited edition line of professional gaming gear. This collaboration has given birth to a custom-designed headband for the Arctis 3 & 5 headset, Limited Edition M500 Keyboard with Cherry MX Red keys, custom-tuned Rival 300 and a QcK+ mousepad.
Evil Geniuses has won more tournament prize money than any other eSports organization, so their official stamp of approval on anything gaming related is a huge deal. SteelSeries has long looked to the Geniuses to help them ensure their products were competition ready so to some this collaboration is a no-brainer.
Evil Geniuses For Arctis 3 & 5
The Arctis 3 has made it to our Top 5 Gaming Headsets list this past holiday season so it goes without saying we already think it’s a worthy addition to your gaming arsenal. Since the Arctis headbands have adjustable Velcro straps you can easily switch the headband out without going out and having to purchase a whole new headset and for $14.99 you can pick up a few styles.
Rival 300 Evil Geniuses Edition
Whether you’re an Esports fan or a casual (right handed) PC/Mac gamer, chances are you have heard of the Rival 300 gaming mouse from Steel Series. Aside from the Evil Geniuses branding, there is no difference. You still have the features you have come to love like:
- Iconic, ergonomic eSports design
- Pixart PMW3310 optical sensor
- Six programmable buttons
- Prism RGB Illumination
- 30 Million click switches
Compatibility: PC, Mac
Pricing: $59.99
Qck+ Evil Geniuses Edition
The Qck+ is the tournament-grade gaming mousepad designed and tested by professional gamers. It has a non-slip rubber base to prevent slipping during gameplay and a nearly frictionless cloth surface to optimize tracking accuracy for both optical and laser sensors.
“The QcK+ is large and has that bit of extra padding to make it comfortable and sturdy. It also has that consistent, perfect glide that just seems natural.” – Evil Geniuses player, Artour “Arteezy” Babaev
Apex M500 Evil Geniuses Edition
The SteelSeries Apex 500 keyboard also landed on our Top 5 Gaming Keyboard list this past holiday season. This limited edition keyboard was actually co-designed by the team. Unlike the other Apex M500 models, this edition has white LED illumination. The features you probably care most about like the Cherry MX Red switches for ultra-fast clicks and double taps and full anti-ghosting are still intact. Like all other products in this line, it is built entirely with professional gamers in mind.

The Evil Geniuses Signature Line is now available at http://steelseries.com/eg. The limited-editions of Rival 300 is $59.99, the Apex M500 is $99.99 and the QcK+ is $19.99.
