Google has opened up pop-up shops to showcase their devices. Stop by the Google Winter Wonderlab to get a hands-on and chill out in the snow globe.

As we all know it’s best to take a look at a device before buying it. That is especially true when you’re shopping for a gadget that costs a few hundred dollars. If you’re one of those shoppers who doesn’t trust shopping online without getting a feel for the products, I have great news for you. Google wants YOU to come and chill with them and hopefully fall for one of their gadgets at the Google Winter Wonderlab.

This past weekend Google opened up their pop-up shops in major cities in hopes of getting consumers to get a good feel of their products and convincing them to make a purchase. At the Winter Wonderlab, Google is showcasing their major devices such as, their popular Nexus 7 tablet, HP Chromebook, the Google Chromecast, and of course the Nexus 5 smartphone.

The pop-up shop will of course have Google trained employees to help you with any questions and comments you may have about the devices. There are different stations with more than one device to make sure that everyone gets enough hands-on time.

But it’s not all about learning at the Wonderlab. There’s this life-size snow globe feature to create a special memory of the event. In the snow globe you make a slow motion video that looks like a cheesy scene from a holiday movie. It is pretty fun to do though. You use the props provided, such as snow gear, gloves, scarves, antlers, fake snowballs, even fake falling snow and have a good time with your friends. It takes no more than 2 minutes to create.

“Bring friends or family members (we’ll provide the fake snow) and step into the giant Snow Globe to create amazing slow motion videos that are yours to keep and share.”
