You plug all the chargers, and once you’re done and your friend is about to leave, you don’t really know who’s charger is which. Ejust grabs a charger and goes. Sometimes this leaves you with your friend’s dingy charger that is falling apart at the base. Or maybe it’s your own charger that is falling apart.
And what about length? No one likes sitting right next to an electric outlet in order to use his or her phone while it’s charging. Enter the Candywirez Lightning Sync and Charge Cable.
An iPhone Charger That Stands Out
There really isn’t much to not love about this charger. It comes in five different colors (lime, orange, pink, purple and blue -which looks like teal) mine is a nice lime green that definitely stands out. It’s also 5 feet long, making it about a foot and a half longer than the stock charger that comes with your Apple device.
When I first received this charger, I misread the description and thought the charger would somehow charge my phone quickly. I read Lightning Charge and skipped right over the Sync part.
The charger actually charges your device as fast as any other regular iPhone charger would. The lightning part is just a fancy word for what Apple calls the chargers for their newer portable devices. As an avid user of Apple products for many years I am a little embarrassed that I had to look that up!
The cable that I reviewed was specifically for newer iPhones, etc. But the company does make cables for Micro USB and 30-pin USB (original iPhone charger.) However the specs below are for the model that I have, taken from the company website.
- Charge and sync iOS devices with a Lighning port
- Long 5ft/1.5m length reaches where you need
- Tough, flexible protective coating Custom colors and finish
- iPod nano 7th gen
- iPod touch 5th gen
- iPhone 5
- iPad mini
- iPad 4th gen
