2015 has been a great year for tech. We see a lot of tech here at TechWeLike. Going back to school shopping with all this great tech is difficult. After having some hands-on time with some of the new devices out, here are some of our recommendations for Back to School shopping for 2015. HP Stream Mini Desktop
If you want the comfort of a desktop but don’t have the space for one, I recommend the HP Stream Mini Desktop. The small yet capable desktop is tiny. It can fit anywhere in your room (and/or) dorm. It’s not a streaming device. It’s actually a computer running Windows 8.1 /10. Perfectly capable of handling the daily school workload, the HP Stream Mini is worth the purchase in both price and size. You’ll have a full HDMI port and a few USB ports to connect a screen and keyboard.

Finding the perfect bag for your books and electronics is one of the main things you look for when back to school shopping. One of my favorites is the TYLT Energi+ Backpack. The battery pack is removable for easy charging, and there’s room for your books too.

If you’re into everything digital, including your notetaking; invest in the Jot Script 2. The Bluetooth stylus works and feels like a pen on your tablet. Motorola Moto G Smartphone
This unlocked smartphone gives you tons of bang for your buck. The 3rd generation of the Moto G gets everything right. It’s water resistant, has a decent camera and is somewhat customizable (you can customize on MotoMaker). The 2,470 battery will last you throughout the school day. Microsoft Surface 3 Laptop / Tablet
As many of you know, I am a fan of the Surface Pro 3. The Surface 3 is suitable though in pricing, portability, and efficiency. Light on your backpack and your wallet, the Surface 3 runs full Windows 8.1 (upgradable to Windows 10). When upgraded to Windows 10, you can stream your content from Xbox One. Seagate Backup Plus Drive
With tablets, computers, laptops and phones, we have media everywhere. Having a universal place to store and access media is ideal. The Seagate Backup Plus Storage drive is great for that.
