Headphones often have a techie look. The Dipper; Tinsel’s earbud necklace aims to give earbuds a new stylish look. It’s not always easy designing tech and gadgets that appeal to women. But the Dipper looks pretty nice. Instead of being tangled with all the other things in our bags, the Dipper is meant to be worn around the neck. It’s a great mix of a necklace, earbuds, and efficiency.
Founder Aniyia Williams wanted the earbuds to look like a necklace more than a wearable, which is the earpieces are hidden in the pendant as well as the 3.5mm audio jack. Looking stylish, having your headphones available, and not having them get tangled up is a win for me.
The Dipper comes in Gold or Gunmetal and is made almost entirely of metals (stainless steel and aluminum) which are then plated with 24K gold or gunmetal and silver. The earbuds are plastic with metal coating.
The stainless steel chains are hollow with insulated cables running through them. The chevron-shaped pendant is formed from an aluminum alloy that keeps it lightweight for all-day wear while elegantly housing earbuds that pump out incredible sound.
