We’ve been hearing / seeing the rumored specs of the Galaxy S7 for weeks now. Samsung has made the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge official at Mobile World Congress 2016. Samsung brought back the expandable memory slot and put a decent (non-removable) battery inside. They upped the RAM to 4GB as well. The new feature which many have been waiting for (or wanting to come back from the Galaxy S5) is that the Galaxy S7 has an IP68 rating, making it water-resistant.

The Galaxy S7 isn’t as squared as the Galaxy S6. It has a bit of a curved back similar to the Galaxy Note 5. Glad to see Samsung made the phone a bit thicker to accommodate a larger battery. You also see less of the camera bump. Pretty cool. We’ll have more hands on tomorrow and will share pictures. Besides a bit of upgrade in software and internals, the Galaxy S7 looks very similar to its predecessor.
