You might be scrambling to get last minute Valentine’s Day Gifts or to plan the special day. As usual I have rounded up some tech gifts you can gift your Valentine or use to help plan for the special day (and to use after). Some of these gifts you can order overnight or go pick up at your electronics store. These are gifts that keep on giving long after Valentine’s Day is over.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (Pink)
I raved about the Galaxy S7 Edge in my reviews, and it’s still one of the best phones out there. This beautiful looking phone boasts a great camera, water-resistant build, curved edges (that serve as a second screen). The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge also have expandable memory. It comes in different colors (yes, it matters!) Black, Onyx Silver Titanium, Gold Platinum, Blue Coral. If the S7 Edge is not for you, you can go with the regular S7. Prices vary for the carriers. You can learn more on Samsung.com
Logitech UE Boom 2 Wireless Speaker
If you’re planning a picnic or any event outdoors, you may want to pick up one of these wireless speakers to set the mood. I suggest getting it in red or pink t(“cherrybomb” colorway) to help with the Valentine’s Day theme. You can use the UE Boom app to control the speaker which is dope. If you’re in a place that requires more sound, you can pair 2 or more speakers together.
iRobot Braava Jet
If you’re preparing your apartment for the big day, the Braava Jet Mop from iRobot might be of help. With 3 different pads, the Braava Jet can help tackle any cleaning job (wet mopping, damp sweeping, or dry sweeping). while you get ready for the big day. It’s made to clean hard floors. It’s also small enough to get into small places like under cabinets and corners. It leaves your floors with a clean scent and you can just throw the pad away when done. Set the mood, and get dressed up while the Braava Jet cleans. Not a bad idea, huh? Of course it comes in handy on other days as well. The Braava Jet won’t break your pockets at $199.
NixPlay Iris Wifi Digital Frame
I think you can get major points with this gift. Nixplay has a variety of frames. The Nixplay Iris is a wifi digital frame. It has great technology but looks like a classic frame. What’s cool about it is how it allows you to display pictures. You can create playlists, you can send pictures from your phone to view instantly, and it brightens and dims to display pictures in the best light level. The display is 8 inches and you can place it in landscape or portrait mode. Create a playlist of romantic memories for your Valentine. If you can try and sync it to “your song”,; even better. You can get the Nixplay Iris digital frame in 3 finishes: Peach Copper, Silver and Burnished Bronze.
Sonos Play 1 Speaker
Keeping in theme of setting up the perfect environment at home, set up your music for the dinner (or party). The Play 1 speaker is tiny and can fit in any room Pair 2 together to get loud sound without taking up too much space. You set the Sonos speakers to work over your wifi for uninterrupted music playback. The Sonos app is easy to use and allows you to sign into 30 music streaming services. If the Play 1 speaker is too small, you may want to opt for the Sonos Play 3.
Incipio Lovestruck Design Series Case
If you’re one of those who gives multiple gifts during the day, you may need some filler gifts that are small yet special. Or someone you are shipping the present to I feel cases are a good choice (if you know what device the person has). Incipio has a cute case for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The Lovestruck case from their Design Series puts hearts (and protection) all over your Valentine’s iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus.
Caseology Parallax Case
Another great case is Caseology cases. One of my favorite cases, the Parallax case is available in different colors. The 3D geometric design gives a nice grip to many slippery phones. It’s available for different phone models. Makes for a very cute gift.
Flowers and Chocolate
Well this is an obvious one. But if you decide to pick the flowers up yourself, and if you get the flower arrangements early you can definitely save some time and money. Use apps like Google Goals, Google Maps, and 1800-Flowers to plan around heavy traffic and arrange to pick up your bouquet(s) of flowers.
The same could be done for chocolate. Picking up the chocolates yourself, or creating your own arrangement can make it easier. I’ve heard stories of the flower and chocolate getting delivered way too late. Valentine’s Day is such a busy day, you may not want to take the risk of relying on delivery.
